cancer can occur anywhere... women have cervixes so we can get cervical cancer. all the other things u mentioned are not "problems" they are completely natural, normal steps along the way to procreation. better get over it... you're female.
I don't really know why - but when you think about our anatomy. We are very complex. There are just a lot of things that we have to go through (birth etc) There is just a lot that can go wrong.
because of EVE!! she's to blame. she's the on who first had some of the forbidden fruit.

Do the bank have inform my Father of problems with a business account?

I used to have a small business of which my father was a director. The business borrowed an amount from the bank. Due to familly problems ie disabled sons, I moved house. Unfortually due the the circumstances I had to cease trading and left an amount in the bank to cover repayments. I informed the bank of my new address and my personel current details came to the new address. However, two years on my Father has been contacted by a debt collection agency saying that this money is owed. My father is liable as he was the garantor for the loan. We have looked into the old statements and it is apparant that some money is out standing. However my father is 84 and getting very stressed at the situation. Yes I wish to pay the money in installment but only to the bank. Surely they should have written to i or my father (both directors) to bring this outstanding amount to our attention. What can I do ?? Have I got any legal rights to pay the bank back and not this debt recovery agency???

Do the bank have inform my Father of problems with a business account?windows defender

The way debt collection agencies work is they buy debt from companies at a low rate and then go after the responsible party. The bank has already been paid by the collection agency and they are the new lien holders. You can still pay the debt back in installments and it will be interest free, so there is an advantage to it. Sorry about the situation.

Do the bank have inform my Father of problems with a business account?windows updates internet explorer

Unfortually?
Well it is the bank that has consulted the agency so it can only be the bank that that can alter things so you pay them direct.... The bank might have sold the debt, so that you do not owe the bank anything now, only the agency... You will have to find all this out from the bank...
I think the bank should have contacted you first and maybe it did contact your father who thought that seeing he had retired he could safely ignore it. However the fact is that you owe the money and it must be paid. I do not know the circumstances but I think you should contact the local director

Can diesel and petrol layer in a fuel tank leading to problems later?

I filled my diesel car fuel tank with diesel drove 40 miles and it broke down with wrong fuel problems ie petrol contamination. can this be caused by the petrol and diesel not mixing due to lack of agitation and causing a problem later

Can diesel and petrol layer in a fuel tank leading to problems later?windows live messenger

you should quit driving the car NOW!diesel engines rely on the oil in the fuel to lubricate the fuel pump and other various internal parts, having petrol in your fuel means it is cleaning the oil film off the moving parts causing serious wear which, if left to go on WILL cause catastrophic failure of the moving parts. you MUST drain the tank. cleanse it thoroughly, and the same form the fuel lines, pump and filters, better still, replace the filters. after this you should part fill the tank and run the engine for 15-20 mins. it will smoke at first but this should clear.if it starts sputtering and running unevenly, seek a mechanics advice asap or you may be faced with a hefty bill.

Can diesel and petrol layer in a fuel tank leading to problems later?microsoft money internet explorerIt would be better if the person who gave this answer had actually read the question. The question didnt ask what should be done it asked can diesel and petrol layer in a fuel tank and cause problems some time after being put into the tank Report It

Yes. Fuel system issues will plague you for a while, unless you spend a bit of money to replace filters, lines, and most of the fuel system. Also, the flash point of petrol is SIGNIFICANTLY less than diesel, so if your engine actually does run, it's going to be poor, at best.
If as you say you filled your diesel tank with diesel you should not have had a wrong fuel problem. If however you filled your diesel car with petrol that is a huge error on your part and can be quite costly.

It would help the absent minded motorist if every garage stuck to the same colours on the fuel pump hoses to stop any confusion.
I fix cars with this problem on a daily basis, we drain the tank thru the fuel filter with an electric pump. we then put approx 锟?0 of diesel in the car and suck the fuel thru past the filter with the electric pump again, replace the pipes and start the car, it may smoke for a little bit ie 5-10mins but after that it is normally ok, we have nevr had any come backs after doing this job and we charge approx 锟?30 inc the fuel todo the job
The two fuels mix pretty fast. The delay in failure is because the engine will run on petrol, but there is no lubricant in it and the injector system wears out fast

Why am i attracted to women that have problems?

I seem to be attracted to women with problems, ie bipolar or past issues with parents breaking up. Am i bound for a life of misery?

Why am i attracted to women that have problems?windows movie maker

Maybe you want to be their rescuer, make them all better.

Why am i attracted to women that have problems?microsoft project internet explorer

You probably had parents who gave you the need to help those women with problems, maybe as a child you sensed your mother's need for help and are still trying to help her.
probably, but its not your fault there are way too many of us with issues
Maybe you go for these women cause they seem to need you a lot more then someone who is normal!

Good luck with that

P.s. i don't think you will alone forever you are just going to have to put up with a lot of Mrs wrongs before you get a Mrs right!
You want to be the hero. If it is misery for you to be in such a relationship, it is hard to change but everyone can change this about themselves.....
In life there are different types of people mostly divided between givers and takers. You are obviously a giver. You have a need to provide comfort and advice and you get something from this. Unfortunately there are a lot of negatives with this. The only thing you can do is recognize this about your personality and try to build a relationship that can be mutually supportive.
Maybe you were sent to help women! God Bless you! lol kidding. Sounds like you may have a insecurity inside and are attracted to the "less then perfect" girl. Why would you think you are "bound for a life of misery" everyone has problems, everyone has a past, what makes a relationship great is being able to over come those issues and supporting eachother, making a relationship stronger.
Empress is correct. Its called co-dependency. No its not a disease lol but you and a million other people have it. Its the need to think we can make someone better or change their bad habits, flaws, etc......Its not a bad trait but a self destructive one.

Your would be much more at peace if you rectified this. HOWEVER CO DEPENDENTS DO NOT ALWAYS FIT EVERY CATEGORY AND IT DOESNT ALWAYS MEAN THAT THE ONES THEY ARE CO DEPENDENT ON ARE DRUG OR ALCOHOL ADDICTED. There are alot of good people who are codependents.

Co-dependents have low self-esteem and look for anything outside of themselves to make them feel better. They find it hard to “be themselves.” Some try to feel better through alcohol, drugs or nicotine – and become addicted. Others may develop compulsive behaviors like workaholism, gambling, or indiscriminate sexual activity.

They have good intentions. They try to take care of a person who is experiencing difficulty, but the care taking becomes compulsive and defeating. Co-dependents often take on a martyr’s role and become “benefactors” to an individual in need. A wife may cover for her alcoholic husband; a mother may make excuses for a truant child; or a father may “pull some strings” to keep his child from suffering the consequences of delinquent behavior.

The problem is that these repeated rescue attempts allow the needy individual to continue on a destructive course and to become even more dependent on the unhealthy care taking of the “benefactor.” As this reliance increases, the co-dependent develops a sense of reward and satisfaction from “being needed.” When the care taking becomes compulsive, the co-dependent feels choiceless and helpless in the relationship, but is unable to break away from the cycle of behavior that causes it. Co-dependents view themselves as victims and are attracted to that some weakness in the love and friendship relationships.

Characteristics of Co-Dependent People Are:

An exaggerated sense of responsibility for the actions of others.

A tendency to confuse love and pity, with the tendency to “love” people they can pity and rescue.

A tendency to do more than their share, all of the time.

A tendency to become hurt when people don’t’ recognize their efforts.

An unhealthy dependence on relationships. The co-dependent will do anything to hold on to a relationship; to avoid the feeling of abandonment.

An extreme need for approval and recognition.

A sense of guilt when asserting themselves.

A compelling need to control others.

Lack of trust in self and/or others.

Fear of being abandoned or alone.

Difficulty identifying feelings

Rigidity/difficulty adjusting to change.

Problems with intimacy/boundaries.

Chronic anger.

Lying/dishonesty.

Poor communication.

Difficulty making decisions.

Questionnaire to Identify Signs of Co-Dependency

This condition appears to run in different degrees, whereby the intensity of symptoms is on a spectrum of severity, as opposed to an all or nothing scale. Please note that only a qualified professional can make a diagnosis of co-dependency; not everyone experiencing these symptoms suffers from co-dependency.

1. Do you keep quiet to avoid arguments?

2. Are you always worried about others’ opinions of you?

3. Have you ever lived with someone with an alcohol or drug problem?

4. Have you ever lived with someone who hits or belittles you?

5. Are the opinions of others more important than your own?

6. Do you have difficulty adjusting to changes at work or home?

7. Do you feel rejected when significant others spend time with friends?

8. Do you doubt your ability to be who you want to be?

9. Are you uncomfortable expressing your true feelings to others?

10. Have you ever felt inadequate?

11. Do you feel like a “bad person” when you make a mistake?

12. Do you have difficulty taking compliments or gifts?

13. Do you feel humiliation when your child or spouse makes a mistake?

14. Do you think people in your life would go downhill without your constant efforts?

15. Do you frequently wish someone could help you get things done?

16. Do you have difficulty talking to people in authority, such as the police or your boss?

17. Are you confused about who you are or where you are going with your life?

18. Do you have trouble saying “no” when asked for help?

19. Do you have trouble asking for help?

20. Do you have so many things going at once that you can’t do justice to any of them?
You likely have a nuturing personality, and have the ability to draw people to you because they sense you are compassionate. You may set yourself up for unhappiness if you continually involve yourself with people with "issues" but in the long run I'm sure you'll be happy because you can have the best of both worlds- you can help people move on with their lives and develop some great relationships.
yup
They all have problems. sorry but the human condition requires it.

Problem with IE and FF?

When I write my XHTML and JavaScript documents that there's in Deitel's Internet how to program they run in IE but not run in FF . What is problem ?

Problem with IE and FF?windows media player 11

It could be any number of things ranging from a dependence on some error recovery that IE supports from Firefox doesn't, to using proprietary features that appear only in IE.

Make sure your markup and CSS is valid, and see http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Usi...

The basic problem though seems to be "The book you have is rubbish and out of date". http://nefariousdesigns.co.uk/archive/20... has some good resources for learning JavaScript.

I've just done a google search using xhtml and firefox as the search criteria. There's alot of info regarding this issue...and alot of fixes.

Here's the google search:

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=ie...

Good luck!
I am not sure what you are asking here really but I can tell you that IE and Firefox will not interpret the source code the same way.

I would verify that you are using valid XHTML and CSS and edit it to show up correctly in Firefox then use the conditional comments to make it show up directly in the different versions of IE.

Use the validation tools available on the http://w3c.org website for your XHTML/HTML and CSS.

Also if you are doing DOM Scripting with your JavaScript you should be aware that the DOMs are different between the browsers.

Dear Jen L,

Learning about computers and problems can be a difficult task. There are many books out there explaining the different problems and how to fix them. Though most of them are great, they use advanced terminology and expect you to know the basics. What you can do is either go out and buy one of those books or you could email me at nbgrigoryan@gmail.com and I will help you out. I am a computer software engineer so I will be able to help you. Please give me an email and I can answer all of your questions. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Best Wishes,

Help! Stuck with web design problem in IE (CSS)?

I have a fairly simple web page design, layouts done in CSS.

There's a "container" around it all, "navbar" at top, "menu" at left, "content" to right of menu and a "footer". It all works perfectly in Firefox and Opera, but in IE the content falls down and sits underneath the end of the menu unless the window is totally maximised.

I don't have any long unbroken text in the menu so I don't think that's causing the problem by stretching the width..

In Firefox and Opera, if I reduce the size of the window, part of the content gets hidden on the right hand side, but the overall layout isn't affected. IE wants to always show the entire content, at the expense of the layout. How can I get it to behave in the same way as Firefox and Opera (short of emailing everyone in the world and telling them to get rid of IE?!)

Thanks guys!

Help! Stuck with web design problem in IE (CSS)?windows installer

Hi there,

Is the content section actually sitting directly below the menu, as in moving over to the left in order to be under it?

Or is it just dropping down on the page but still staying to the right side of the menu?

If it is staying in its area and just dropping down, try adding

vertical-align:top;

to the class on your stylesheet that controls the formatting and layout of your content section.

Also, and in both cases, if you are using percentages as widths for any of your settings, you might want to try giving them fixed widths so the sections will retain %26amp; use the proper amount of space allotted for them.

Sorry my answer is so vague, however without seeing it, it's hard to tell what is causing your problem.

Good luck with it!

Hi my sister has problem with IE 7 , Can anyone help please?replacement windows internet explorer

just tell her to download Mozilla Firefox browser.

everything should work fine on that.
Hi. I recommend she switch to Firefox. It's free, easy to learn, and more reliable.
It is recommended to use an alternative browser such as Firefox or Opera.
be carefull a lot of these games have adware attached
MAybe her system aint up to date and is struggling to support the games.
I had a similar problem so i wrote down the error code and typed it into my search bar .

The first result was from windows help asking me to download a security update and fix the problem .

If i remember correctly its something to do with realtek audio drivers conflicting with windows programming .

Just download the fix that's all .
Two things you can try - I would recommend #2 :

1 - this happens when some additional add-ons / helpers are running with Internet explorer. Some yahoo helpers/objects can also cause this every time you close internet explorer. To remove or disable add-ons, go to IE, tools menu, and click on "Manage Add-ons" - Try disabling the ones you dont think you need. I would start with Yahoo ones and remove and test and see if problem persists.

2 - Quit using IE and download FireFox from www.mozilla.com and you will not have these issues. I've been using FireFox and am very very happy with it.
IE %26amp; has the same problems as all the ones before it the security leaves a lot to be desired and its full of holes whatis the error signature she encounters this could give us a clue

Problems with my ie7 on windows vista?windows explorer internet explorer

First try going on microsoft's site and search for update KB942615. Download that with whatever browser works for you, and install it. You probably won't be able to get this through windows update, as windows update uses internet explorer, so download the patch directly from the site and install it yourself, it should fix the problem. IE7 problems may be caused by security bugs in it which have been patched already by Microsoft.

If you already have another browser like firefox (I agree, I hate it), you should have no qualms whatsoever about just uninstalling IE7 without necessarily having to clear all your records, and regardless of it having been on your computer already. Any suggestion otherwise probably means they don't know much about computers and are afraid to remove stuff because they don't know what it will do. Most prebuilt computers come with lots of garbage installed on them that can easily be uninstalled without any harm whatsoever. Mozilla doesn't use IE at all, so uninstalling IE wouldn't cause any kind of conflicts as Mozilla is based on netscape, not IE. You could easily download a new copy of IE7 from Mozilla, reinstall IE7, and then uninstall Mozilla forever when IE works again.

Your problem with IE might be spyware related as well. Do not ever install any search bars, or plugins for IE from anywhere but Microsoft. Get a copy of Ad-Aware for free from their site and do a scan of your pc as well, that may get rid of your IE problem in case reinstalling IE doesn't fix it. Good Luck.
If Firefox is slow on your machine, you are probably suffering a spyware or virus infection. Download and updatean anti-spyware scanner, then scan the machine. Then update you virus software and scan with that. Only then try running any patch installs. If you have trouble resolving this, you could try running the repair install by booting from your OS cd, selecting install at the first prompt, then the R repair option at the second.

Javascript Debugging Possible in IE?

Is there a reliable solution for performing javascript debugging within IE? I'm now used to the brilliant modern solutions within Firefox (ie. Firebug) and so it comes as a great frustration when having to debug the endless IE specific problems. I've tried the VS .NET 2003 debug process on Iexplore.exe but I'd say 99% of the time the technique fails, that is the "Running Documents" tab is never filled with the running javascript files currently in the browser and so I am unable to insert breaks to begin debugging within IE. I've also tried the "debugger" keyword but again IE doesnt acknowledge it. Guesisng where the code will fork to and inserting ALERT statements are killing me.

I'm just looking for a reliable approach to debugging JS issues within IE. VS.NET process debugging more often then not doesnt work and this is just wasting time.

Thanks for any solution.

My computer keeps shutting down, it says there is a problem with IE..is there any way to fix it?

I had been playing on yahoo games, then I suddenly got booted, and I can't get back in, it says there is a problem with IE. I didn't do any thing or say anything wrong, how do I fix it? or do you?

My computer keeps shutting down, it says there is a problem with IE..is there any way to fix it?microsoft project

Does a screen that says LSASS, with a 60 second countdown occurs? From IE...sounds like an LSASS virus...LSASS is a original Microsoft application..ususally used by virus programmers to shutdown systems...it is tricky to bypass such method because you have to work fast, through the command prompt to reprogram LSASS to shut down in 60 minutes...you do this fast, because when you power on, LSASS begans and tries to shut you down in 60 seconds...after you managed this tricky part, you have to download a removal tool from McAfee...not sure if STINGER does it...I have four years since graduation working in the IT field, now I specialize in security, and its a mess! My point, the LSASS tread typically is what shutdowns a machine...What would help would be more feedback, more descriptive things, the actual full event to get an understanding as to what is happening, therefore, to truely clarify if it is truely being caused by a virus..

- restart your computer.

- download free firefox browser from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ and use it instead of IE.

- if shut downs continue contact geek squad: http://www.geeksquad.com/
I used to get that all the time till I found firefox. It is the best browser I've ever tried. I downloaded it a year ago and haven't opened internet explorer one time since. Try it, you'll love it!!

http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
to fix this, download the latest IE. go to www.microsoft.com

but, yeah, firefox is one of the best browsers around. a lesser number of people are using it compared to IE, so less chances for exploits to be dealt with.k
Don't listen to Sasi. IExplorer is evil and it has more holes than swiss cheese at the wrong end of a shotgun fired 254 times. You want viruses, spyware, adware, popups? use Iexplorer. If not, use Firefox.

IE Table problem?

I'm currently working on this site:

http://eattickets.com/new/

If you have firefox and IE take a look in both. Firefox renders the table smoothly doing exactly what I want. IE adds all sorts of iffy new lines and messes up row heights where I dont want them.

Is there something I can do to stop this? I find that for some reason writing everything on one line in my html works but thats ugly and not very easy to work with.

Am I missing something?

IE Table problem?microsoft publisher

IE does have a box model problem and a few other bugs that you sometimes have to compensate for:

http://www.positioniseverything.net/expl...

Since you are using XHTML 1.0 Transistional, you need to correct a few of your coding errors. many are minor ones. Some like this:

%26lt;a href="?et=search%26amp;type=r%26amp;region=South-Eas... England"%26gt;

Should not have space in the URL link. Better like this:

%26lt;a href="?et=search%26amp;type=r%26amp;region=South-Eas...

with %20 filling in where the spaces are.

You're missing a closing tag for the form which is more serious than the others.

Validate html code here:

http://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_inp...

Validate CSS code here:

http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/#vali...

Actually tables for layouts do not meet the HTML 4.01 Web Standards (went out in the 90s) and your doc type should be changed so you don't have to write tighter code.

Hope this helps.

I guarentee they will manage to help you!!
1) Tables are for tabular data - you should really be using css to set style.

2) The page renders exactly the same in IE 7 and Firefox 2.0.0.12. Don't worry about writing to legacy browsers. Next you'll be trying to cram the page into 600X480 (one of my customers wants that).

I haven't had success getting windows task manager to see if it will unfreeze IE?

I am trying to get the windows task manager to see if I can click IE nonresponding %26amp; end task to see if that will unfreeze my IE, Having problems with freezing %26amp; not connecting, Do u think this will solve my problem with IE %26amp; get it to working again...Thanks very much...having no luck getting the windows task manager.

I haven't had success getting windows task manager to see if it will unfreeze IE?windows media

I need a little bit more information..

Does it only freeze when you try and connect to the internet? Do other programs freeze?

Are you in able to open task manager at all?

What OS and version of IE are you using?

Task manager is only for shutting down programs and still you shouldnt mess around with it. Sounds to me like you might have a virus (if it keeps freezing) get back to me with the following information and i can help you out better :)

I haven't had success getting windows task manager to see if it will unfreeze IE?microsoft exchange internet explorer

If it's freezing on a regular basis, you have a more deep-seated problem than you can fix with Task Manager. However, you should be able to open Task Manager by hitting Ctrl-Alt-Del or by right-clicking on the taskbar and selecting it from the menu. If neither of those options works, you may need to repair or reinstall Windows (but be careful!). You may also need to reinstall your dialup software or check your configuration if you're not connecting.
What you need to do is download Opera Web Browser off of www.opera.com

It is way better for the web, faster, easier to use, and doesn't give so many problems like IE.
If you can't get to the task manager you most likely have a virus. I have cleaned off a bunch of computers and when it won't let you into Task Manager 99.99% of the time you have a virus. Do you have any antivirus software installed? If no get a copy of some kind of antivirus, if you can still download you can get AVG free. Or you can go to the store and get Norton/Symantec. Once you have antivirus try to install it. Some viruses even will prevent this. If so restart your computer and before windows starts to load keep hitting the F8. You should get an option of how you want to start windows. Choose regular safe mode. Once in safe mode try to install antivirus program if you haven't done so. Now run your antivirus is safe mode. The reason you want to do it in safe mode is because when you boot up your computer normally the virus is loading itself in memory and not allow you to uninstall/delete it. Safe mode only boots up the programs neccesary for windows to work. Hopefully this will work for you.

IE 7 probably only lets you do www. before it. I never ever do www. but some people still manage to do it all the time.
try http://
Use the keyboard shortcut.

Just type yahoo and hit ctrl + enter.

This works for any url. Just type the main word of the url, and it will put http://www. before it and .com after it.

It's ctrl + shift for .net and ctrl + shift + enter for .org. I don't know if those two will work in IE though, I know it works in Firefox. But yeah, ctrl + enter will definitely work in IE.
Dump IE7 !!!! It's a piece of crap!

In IE7, Click Tools -%26gt; Phishing Filter -%26gt; Turn off Phishing Filter.
After I installed IE 7.0, I could not access any ot the settings for my printer/scanner/copier. HP gave me a work around that didn't work. They then said to uninstall IE 7.0. When I did and got IE 6.0 re-installed (this will happen automatically), the problems with my printer were gone.

it's really strange. sometimes my computer freezes when i opened too many tabs in one browser (IE 7), and after i unfreezes my computer, the whole browser keeps shaking up and down, and the menu bar would suddenly come out then disappear without me doing anything.

Chances Of Heart Problems after a 'Normal' Echo and ECG?

Hi all.

I had an echo test done and an ECG the other week. I suffer with anxiety which 'may' make things worse. Constantly im thinking about my heart, any pains i get i blame it on my heart. I cant help it.

What im asking is even though my echo and ecg came back as 'Normal' ie. no problems were found, is it possible that i could still have a serious condition?

I still get skipped beats, sometimes they feel like huge shocks that last a second, other times its like a flip flop feeling and sometimes my heartrate slows down to 40bpm when i stand up.

I get so freaked out, i dont know whats going on.

Thanks.

Chances Of Heart Problems after a 'Normal' Echo and ECG?replacement windows

no. if you did have a serios condition, it would have showed.

you're fine

Chances Of Heart Problems after a 'Normal' Echo and ECG?windows mail internet explorer

The mechanics and electrical behavior of your heart are then ok. The doctor also listened to it, which can reveal other problems, and it was ok.

Arterial blockages can still build up from stress and lack of healthy foods. Less stress, more healthy foods.

Find some people who really need help, they will take your mind of your imagined problems. It will help both of you.
The ECG determines the electrical activity of your heart; the echo determines the anatomy/structure/overall function of your heart. Both of which came back normal, so you know that those areas are fine.

What those tests cannot determine is the level of plaque buildup in your arteries, if any. A stress echo is a non-invasive screening for possible arterial blockage, but is an indirect test. Under stress, the heart muscles require more oxygenated blood and if there are any major blockages, the corresponding heart muscle will not contract as well. However, angiograms are the gold standard because they look at the arteries themselves.

You can still have a completely normal heart and feel palpitations and mild arrythmias. If the symptoms persist or get worse, see a cardiologist. However, I would take the good news of the ECG and echo and feel relieved. A good lifestyle, exercise and a healthy diet will go a long way to keeping your ticker working well.

Web Design - Firefox/IE Display Problem?

Hi,

I'm designing a site, and i've discovered that it displays slightly differently in Firefox than Internet explorer or Safari. The link below is the site. You can see when viewed in IE, everything is as it should be. When viewed in Firefox, the banner size flash app is lowered down a bit, which moves the layout and makes it look not so good. Does anyone know how I can resolve this?

http://www.softsystems.co.uk/adopt/

Thanks!

Web Design - Firefox/IE Display Problem?windows explorer

It just happens I saw no difference in my versions of those browsers...(I also tried IceMonkey and Netscape)...but that's me and my computer and my maintenance and...well...all those other variable thingies.

But I will say this: personally, I'm in favor of NOT using tables for layout. I'd go for switching to CSS and divs, like say, a wrapper for the banner, then a left div for the image with a certain percentage floated left, and a right div floated either left or right.

Alternatively a banner with a div floated left and using the photo as a background-image... and a div floated right and the movie as a background-image.

...and on, and on...

Web Design - Firefox/IE Display Problem?microsoft zune internet explorer

first if your using what-you-is-what-you-get softwares try using layers, and actually the site depends on the size of the display
I also encountered that problem b4, and here's my hypothesis to that:

1. the older version of firefox which is 1.5 does not totally support CSS, which is usually use in designing a web compared to IE5 or IE6.

2. The design you created maybe applies only to smaller resolutions or higher resolutions displays that can change the appearance of the design.

3. be sure to design a site or page that using percent as screen size width or height of the pics layers and whatsoever
First, you should design and develop in Firefox, that browser is far more standard than IE will ever be. Second, you can make a conditional comment and a separate stylesheet for IE using these methods:

http://brucelawson.co.uk/2005/future-pro...

Conditional commenting only works with Internet Explorer.

You should use a valid DOCTYPE so you can validate your code in the w3 validator. You're working in tables and have divs in your tables which is not real good to do. You dont have the flexibility as you would with just a pure div /css layout.

Your layout is very similar to this:

http://www.456bereastreet.com/lab/develo...

You should implement that if you can, it will be much easier for you to maintain and edit.

But the browser problem can be fixed with conditional commenting, as for Safari... it looks OK to me in Safari.

Internet Explorer 7 problems with Yahoo e-mail?

I've been using this for quite a few months. All of a sudden a few days ago, I can no longer drng mail. It says that IE 7 prohibits my screen name from sending e-mail. Yhis is in Yahoo's Mail Beta. It was fine for a few days with the new account but now it's back to the old problems! Sorry, I'm not much help. Are you having the same problems?

I've heard of reliability problems with Volkswagon. (check Consumer Reports)

But I would not hesitate to buy a demo if the price is considerably lower. They have to disclose if the car was in a serious accident, and beyond that, I don't see any problem with it.

The warranty should be exactly the same as a new car. Maybe you could even have them throw in an extended warranty as part of the deal.

Don't buy a demo car...you dont save that much $$ and you don't know if car been properly broken in.

Most like demo are treated like rented car.
a demo carries the same warranty as a new car and its much cheaper in price, should be at lease 15%
I bought a demo 97 tahoe. Had 2000 miles on it. the dealer tried to sell it as a new vehicle. I told them I would take the one next to it instead. After dealing with them I saved a lot of money by explaining that if I took a car off the lot, put 2000 miles on it, and then came back, it wouldnt be new would it? Saved about $5000. You have to know how to deal with car salesmen and if you cant do it let someone else do it for you

Recently ive gone from using firefox back to IE have i made the right choice?windows server 2003

Firefox has less security holes, however, if you regularly use windows update and enable the windows firewall or some other firewall like those available in many cable modem/router combo gateways or other internet routers then your computer will be fairly secure.

Using antivirus software such as McAffee or Norton Antivirus combined with scanning with anti-malware application such as (AdAware or Ewido anti-malware) is recommended. I never get a virus and run Ewido on top of McAffee AV behind my router firewall. I have the windows firewall disabled (it is unneccessary under these conditions).

Good luck. Find yourself some freeware AV software and use AdAware regularly for the lowest cost solution to securing your browsing activity.

Recently ive gone from using firefox back to IE have i made the right choice?windows xp service internet explorer

I did the same! Firefox let me down BIGTIME!!! I've gone back to I.E. (accepting that most worms are targeted for it) and just keep my antivius updated and scanning always. I haven't had problems in a year.

With Firefox, about every 10 days, I'd have to "fix it" somehow...too frustrating!
I did the exact same thing because many sites would not open. I had a very hard time updating on Microsoft's website also without IE. You can have both but I would stick with one or the other. I like IE 7 beta, its fancy and different.
hmmmm.. i've never had problems with FireFox, I love it! I do know that some pages display differently through firefox, but it's never been a real problem for me.
http://www.opera.com/index.html
There's nothing wrong with it. Both are designed to assist in Web Browsing. We users have the choice on what to use and what not to. =) I am using IE myself.
I am using firefox right now and have for a long time. I have no problems. The customizble themes, tabbed browsing, extensions. Plus, knowing that most bugs are aimed at IE and that if there is a problem Mozilla is right on top of it and sends the update right to you, makes it far superior to IE. Even IE7. By the time IE7 catches up to firefox, they will come up with something new that will take microsoft another 2 years to catch on to. ie. tabbed browing.
Yes if you like IE more then its the right choice. Those hassles you had are there because firefox is more secure. So to make those things work that didnt, you have to enable them. For example i couldnt play videos on sites on firefox but once i got its plugin it started working. I think you should use whatever you like. Theres no right or wrong. Just depends on one's choice.

I did a senior term paper comparing Van Gogh to Cobain. They both suffered from depression and other disorders and took their own life due to it. Came out a great and interesting paper
tom cruise = wacked out insanity, brainwashed.

britney spears - hardcore depression and anxiety
the list will be shorter if you find a celeb without a problem.
75 percent of them
Michael Jackson
Marilyn Monroe.

It is common knowledge that she was troubled, but she was also interesting and there is a lot of information from her past that add to the intrigue that is Marilyn Monroe.

Also, some people still believe she overdosed on purpose which adds something else for you to discuss in your profile.
After a broken engagement at age 31, Abraham Lincoln developed symptoms of depression that were so severe that his friends feared that he would hurt himself, and they removed any sharp objects from his room.

And yes, Tom Cruise suffers from dyslexia.

You could do people with eating disorders. I don't even have to name those!!

Kim Basinger is reported to have suffered from panic disorder with agoraphobia, as well as social phobia.
howie mandel has ocd, kim basinger has anxiety, panic attacks, all the stars have drug and alcohol problems, the guy from bay watch has a drinking problem, paula abdul had bulimia, mel gipsion drinking problem, al pachino drinking problem, brooke shields had depression

Google explorer problem %26amp; ie freeze?windows mobile

Your mistake was using Google Desktop - it's buggy, and bloated. Sorry, but Google did a bad thing with that.

Google Desktop also indexes your files, and Google scans through it to take your private data for who knows what. It's really nasty. So mean of Google.

Here's what to be said about Google and it's 'power': http://masterplanthemovie.com/

To get rid of it:

1. Go to "Start" %26gt; "Programs" %26gt; "Google Desktop" %26gt; "Uninstall Google Desktop."

2. You'll see a "Do you really want to remove Google Desktop from your computer?" dialog box

3. Select "Yes" or anything that would indicate Yes.

4. It should work.

If you're going to use a real desktop file search use the real one, Windows Desktop Search. The official one from Microsoft. Who knows how to search its OS better than Microsoft? Here's the place to download: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/desktop...

If you need more help, give me an e-mail. Good luck.

Actually it's under your control panel. Go there and go in to Add and remove, it should be there..
Stop all instances of google desktop bar.

Go into programme files and manually delete the file.

Then do a search for anything google has hidden on your PC.

Google bar is the pits.
The Google Desktop bar is bad. It is full of bugs and will crash, just like you are seeing.

Internet Explorer is also bad software, compared to many other Web browsers. I suggest downloading Firefox, from http://www.mozilla.com/ . Firefox is better than Internet Explorer in every way, and is free.
You use very bad software google desktop bar. The internet is also a bad software. You can use the first best software MOZILLA FIREFOX. Go to http://mozilla.org/.

To use Yahoo! Chat, users must be 18 years of age. If the DOB in the user account is set at an age older than 18, then that user should be able to use the account. If the 'profile' says the age is older than what the DOB shows - meaning the user is under 18 but edited their 'profile' to be over 18, that user will not be able to use Yahoo! Chat. If the user is of age 18 or older and having this problem, I suggest contacting Yahoo! to resolve this. There are a list of Yahoo! Chat help pages located at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messeng... Just click on the 'Contact Customer Care' button at the bottom of any question/answer page in that section, fill out the form that loads, and click 'Send' to escalate to the Yahoo! Messenger customer care team.

Never heard of this kind of problem before. I have talked to people as young as 10 on here.
just put his birthday as the wrong answer make it up.......no one will ever know...lol
holy ****....

how is that possible?

try entering another age in the button labeled "my account"...like maybe try 100,that might do...
tell him to check and see if he might have put on some kind of parental block by mistake.

Tom
How close of an approximation?
if he IS too young, then good, i'm glad they are finally doing something. if he isn't, then it's in the account settings.
I agree with midnightrose! if he is too young then he shouldn't be able to get to answer these questions if not then I don't know what to tell u then.
something is wrong with the account info ... try to correct the birthdate
most likely a setting his parent has on the computer;if ure as young as ur friend %26amp; use a nother comp. then it is something his parents did to prohibit acess to this site.-Dont try to change it;parents know everything
I think it might have to do with the old story...the older you get the

Why are economies faced with the economic problem (ie. that not all ends can be met,due to the means

I think considering the fundamental idea of scarcity may find the answer. If goods and services are too much in demand, and they are often, they become scarce. Thus resources required to obtain those, consumers and government put these there, and resources become unavailable to serve other purposes, as in making ends meet.

Is there any real treatment for an eye problem ie "RETINITIS PIGMENTOSA " ?microsoft net

www.blindness.org/content.asp?id=45As yet, there is no known cure for Retinitis Pigmentosa. However, intensive research is currently under way to discover the cause, prevention, and treatment of RP. At this time, retinitis pigmentosa researchers have identified a first step in managing Retinitis Pigmentosa. While not a cure, certain doses of vitamin A have been found to slightly slow the progression of retinitis pigmentosa in some individuals. An information packet on this research breakthrough is available from The Foundation. Researchers have found some of the genes that cause retinitis pigmentosa. It is now possible, in some families with X-linked RP or autosomal dominant retinitis pigmentosa, to perform a test on genetic material from blood and other cells to determine if members of an affected family have one of several Retinitis Pigmentosa genes.

try a different brower and see if you have the same problem

if not you probably have virus and/or spyware you need to get rid off
No! Get Mozilla or Opera!
As above replace IE with Firefox its a far better browser.

You will also need to check your system out for virus and spyware.

I recomend AVG for the virus, Go to

www.grisoft.com and browse the products section to find the free version of anti virus (there really is no need to get the pay for version as the free is very good indeed).

while you are there you can also download the anti-spy ware program too. this is probably one of the best on the market and you get it fully working for a months trial after which the shield is dropped.

Download from www.downloads.com

adaware se

spywareblaster

spybot search and destroy

install the programs and regularly update and run scans this should keep your system tip top.

If firefox does not sort out the problem you can use anyones copy of XP to reinstall as long as you use your own COA key

1)One possible cause is an Internet Explorer 6 update installed by Windows Update. Some users found that this problem could be resolved by changing an Internet Explorer setting:

In Internet Explorer, from the Tools menu, select Internet Options.

Click the Advanced tab.

Under Browsing, clear the checkbox for Show friendly HTTP error messages.

Click OK.

Restart the Internet Explorer browser.

If this problem persists after changing this setting and restarting your browser, it may be caused by spyware or deceptive software on your computer."

2)Try using a better browser like FIREFOX (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/) or OPERA (http://www.opera.com/download/) If they work,it`s an IE problem.

VirginMedia DNS problem with Yahoo? IE Page cannot be displayed error in yahoo answers...?

Hello just a quick survey...

Quite a lot of people are experiencing the problem when accessing yahoo answers IE pops up and states "The Internet Site you requested could not be displaye *SITE URL* Operation Cancelled"

Well i have tried all these to rectify the problem:

Deleted all temporary files/cookies/cache the lot!.

Reset all Internet Explorers settings

Reinstalled Java (as the new version is causing a few errors with customers PCs)

Run a full system spyware and virus scan

Ran CCleaner

Uninstalled/Reinstalled Internet Explorer 7

Flushed my DNS settings

Reset my router and reconfigured it

Reset my firewall settings

Re-registered all associated DLL's in Internet Explorer

Pinged the yahoo answers site to check for packet loss

Created a 2 minute timeout rule in my registry so that Internet Explorer does not timeout until two minutes have passed without communication from the website server.

Now one question who is experiencing this problem on VirginMedia?????

VirginMedia DNS problem with Yahoo? IE Page cannot be displayed error in yahoo answers...?microsoft net framework

I am having exactly the same problem you describe, and I am on Virgin network. It is driving me mad. Also, the 'Answers' logo in my toolbar has disappeared and changing the settings or refreshing the toolbar makes no difference. All I can say to you is that I am relieved to hear that it's not just me!! I thought maybe everyone was blocking me!! Another thing, I had a violation e-mail today, and it was for saying to someone that I agreed with their philosophy about answering questions with understanding and respect. I was so shocked, and I have e-mailed back, asking if they could check because there was nothing abusive or offending in it, in fact quite the opposite! But I got another e-mail more or less saying it MUST have violated their guidelines or policies! S now I am wondering if that was some sort of error as well. I hope they get this sorted out soon, for your sake and mine!!

Major IE failure?

I get a C++ Runtime library runtime error whenever I try to run IE on my mother's account. We are using XP and I'm really stumped. I don't know how to fix it.

I have no problem with IE on my account %26amp; I don't think the third account has any problems with IE either. It has been like this since the last 2 major IE updates (so before and after the tabed browsing).

I've just had my mom using firefox since it is better anyways (I personally prefer Opera). However, she really wants to play Toontown %26amp; you can only run that with IE (I've looked for FF extensions, but I can't find one).

Any ideas? Whenever I run IE the program takes forever to load, no website will load and it just seems like it takes up more and more resources untill windows finally decides it is time to pop up the error message and terminate the program.

Major IE failure?windows firewall

Make sure IE is not open.

Click on Start then click Control Panel.

Click into Network and Internet Connections. (Skip this if you are in classic view)

Click into Internet Options. (And yes I know this is available from within IE, but it is better to do this when IE is not open)

In IE6 click Settings.

In IE7 click Settings in the Browsing History section next to the Delete button.

Click View Objects.

Delete all the files showing in the Downloaded Program Files window.

Close the Downloaded Program Files Window.

Click OK on the Temporary Internet Files And History Settings and then click on the Advanced Tab.

In IE6 click Restore Defaults.

In IE7 click Restore Advanced Settings.

Find "Enable Third-party Browser Extensions" in the list and remove the check mark.

Click Apply.

Click OK.

Then Download a good anti-spyware program such as Microsoft Windows Defender or Spybot Search %26amp; Destroy or AdAware and scan the computer for spyware.

Major IE failure?microsoft frontpage internet explorer

no i don't think so. aNd exactly which extension do you need? Flash or java? that is there for firefox.
Offhand I'd say you're mom has different IE settings than are on your profile. Different IE settings (perhaps pop-up blocking, java settings) may be the root of this problem.

My computer works slower with IE 7 then with the previous?

Every since, I upgraded to ie 7, my computer takes forever to do load up. The overall performance is just plain slow. I also use firefox, and don't have any problems with their performance.

Why is this? Does anyone out there have similar problems with ie 7?

I can't use macromedia flashplayer on ie 7, but I can on firefox. What's going on here?

What do you recommend usig instead of ie 7. I want a fast engine. Should I download from ie 7?

Enjoy a good working computer don't you?

Also, do too many search engines/add ons, on a toolbar slow things down, or is this just a microsoft problem?

My yahoo homepage has alot of modules, or should I say information I look forward to reading, can this slow a computer down, I don't think it should, after all Yahoo sais add as much as you like?!

What search engines do you use? I heard Safari, maxthon, and opera were good.

If it is so then uninstall ur windows service pack 2 of ur windows with which ur internet explorer will come down to 6 version %26amp; windows media player to 10 or if u don't want to uninstall the same then ungrade ur current ram to higher for example from 256mb ram to 512mb ram which will increase ur machines speed %26amp; performance.

One more thing press Windows Key + Pause %26amp; Break key %26gt; then go to Advanced Tab%26gt;Settings%26gt;Adjust for best performance.

My computer works slower with IE 7 then with the previous?microsoft visual studio internet explorer

maybe your computer isnt made for ie 7 and also it can be to many add-on slowing things dow
From what I've heard, IE7 has a lot of trouble toolbars like Yahoo and Google. IE7 is overall not as good as IE6, unfortunately. If you decide to downgrade, just go to Add/Remove programs in Control Panel to uninstall IE7 which will restore IE6. As far as search engines go, I use good old Google.
We tend to stay away from IE except for playing on MSN Games or for windows updates.

We prefer Mozilla Firefox. It has fewer bugs and better security than IE. And it's a free download.

Hardware wise... INCREASE YOUR SYSTEM'S RAM

Software wise... Uninstall IE 7 update go back to IE 6
No, its not slowing my computer down. But it has not been debugged completely, so some are facing problems.
Your computer is newly aquainted with the program. In a few days, your computer will regain speed. Try deleting some files and programs that you no longer use. That would help speed things up.
Yes I had problems so uninstalled it and went back to 6. I'll wait till they iron out the teething problems first.
i noticed the same but cleared up after a while and am back up to speed .guess it had to adjust . plus alot of updates i would not have with 6.
Get rid of it.
I had the same problem and went back to IE6 and will wait until the bugs are sorted out. Suggest you uninstall for now.
Clean up your computer (Disk cleanup) ,refresh drives (Retart the computer and just before windows load, press F5 and turn on on to windows XP in safe mode; then restart again normally),

step up your RAM above 256.

Eventually, you'll need upgrading to IE.7
Get rid of it - too many bugs yet
yes! it is so slow at displaying web pages - thats if it does it at all. I also keep getting a message that there is no internet connection. It then says work offline or try again. It does it quite alot on yahoo videos. Does anyone else have these message

pop ups? and how can I get rid of it ?
Ah yes that delightful Microsoft habit of insisting you up grade and then things slow down and break on you so you have to buy new stuff. Best bet uninstall, and re-install ie 6 if you are still slow, scan for virus and spywear, delete all cookies and off line content. Then defrag your disk. If that doesn't work try speed disk utilities, and if that fails, backup all important data, format the drive and start again.

IE/ Firefox Browser closes randomly, computer shuts down randomly?

There are several problems that I'll address here:

1. My internet browsers close randomly/unexpectedly. I thought it might be a problem with IE so I switched to Firefox, but it stills happens. It happens more frequently when the computer first starts up, but every 3 minutes or so the browser closes.

2. The computer itself restarts randomly. I've changed my power settings but it still does it. Is there any fix or any suggested power settings? Whenever the computer comes back on I get a message "Windows has recovered from a serious error."

3. I can't change font sizes in Microsoft Works Word Processor or the program will freeze.

I've googled all of the problems and I've found people asking for help but no one knows a solution. I really hope you guys can help!

I've also ran Avast! virus scan, Spyware Doctor, Ad-Aware, Ace Utilities, etc, and nothing comes up, so I doubt it's any form of spyware and if it is a virus it's a very elusive one.
